The History of Avalon
&
Libertine Hall
As some of you know Avalon is my creation
I started workng it about 8 year's ago
and havnt given up on it sense.
The HoA Chatroom is owned by me but really
The Libertine Family run's it
I've always said Avalon isnt great because of me
Avalon is great because of it's dedicated people
and I still stand by that today.
It's been a long and hard road
with many tough lesson's that had to be learned
As many of the Libertine's know
Because they have been with me from the start
Like I said I first thought of Avalon
about 8 year's, well probably closert to 9 now
when we were all on a chatsite called chathouse
It was the cliche inmates taking over the asylum
and those who were left with their sanity
were getting more fed up as the days passed
I thought to myself
"Wouldnt it be awsome to find a place where
the old way of chatting
is still the only way of chatting"
and bam just like that Avalon slowly came to me
I first took the idea to my best friend
who is still a major part of Avalon
and pitched the idea for the first time
Of course she had been part of my many idea's of the past
but this was diffrent and I think she knew that
so off I went on this long road with friends
pitching this idea to anyone who would
basically listen to it
Slowly but surly the more I got excited
about Avalon, the people hearing about it
got excited as well....
Something that still happens today
which is something that still shock's me
I think everytime I pitch the idea to someone
and they get excited because Im excited
I leave totally shocked that it still
holds that energy and enjoyment
not only for me but everyone involved
HoA finally became a chatroom for the first
when I and some friends were bumbing around the net
looking for a new home and came across a certain site
where I could already see the inmates had the power
and that isnt Avalon and Avalon was never ment
to go in a place like that so I moved on
Till I and said friends came across a site
called Dark Realms Chat and I was blown away
Finally a site that holds the same values of Avalon
with in two days of chatting I decided like a revalation
DRC would be the home of Avalon and it is
one of my dearest friend's opened up her own room
Darque Intentions at the same time and like in the past
We decided to team up again
and create somethign awsome
deviant doll and I have worked together in the past
and people got excited when we got excited because
there's true friendship there
If Avalon taught me one lesson
it would inevitably be that only threw friendship
can great things be accomplished
Its the old saying no one is an island
well that's true and I think when it comes to
such things as my Avalon and now Darque Intentions
that we are learning all over again the joy
of chatting, chatting as it should be if you will
not because we have room's well that could be it
but its the people inside the room's that make it fun
Essentialy its the Libertine Family
who has made chatting fun again
not just for the doll and I but everyone we know
which oddly enough is in fact the Family
The Libertine Family is a joint creation between
deviant doll, darque prinze and myself
In truth I just got tired of trying to think
of a clever way to join two houses
with out having to type a million things
so I once again pitched an idea to doll and dp
and they loved it and off we went
pitching this idea to our friends
A Family in two houses is still
easier said then actually applied
and we are all still learning that lesson
It was like pitching Avalon all over again
the more the three of us got excited over it
the people hearing about it got excited
thats when we knew we had something special
Now we are a growing family
We share all the qualities of a family
and are closer then most r/t families
which is nice, it provides that support
that everyone needs at the end of a bad day
which we have been having alot of lately
but its nice to be able to share the good stuff
as well with each other, if one of us is happy
it will spread to the others and soon
all of us are happy and then it hits me
Avalon is still great,
and from Avalon great things are still being made
And I remember what I had said years ago
"Wouldnt it be awsome if we could do this..."
and because of them we have and that is
something that still brings joy to my life

I just want to say thank you to everyone who has
helped Avalon come this far

well steal is a strong word...
more like borrow....kinda
